UNFINISHED BUSINESS

Road Status Report -The crew worked on filling potholes in the township. They assisted with
a project with U.A. and Shamokin Townships. They took a truck and trailer into Sunbury Ford
for inspection. They cleaned the garage to prepare for the Election, they used the Gradall and
then later went back to seed several areas. They mowed the township lawn and maintained the
township equipment.

Zoning Investigations -Ed Wenger sent a letter to Spyglass Ridge Winery, (Thomas and
Tammy Webb) reminding them of the court order permit for Special Event Camping.

Comprehensive Plan Update – Mike received the answers to his questions from the Board and
was working on finishing up the plan.

Government Funds -Nothing new at this time. Julie will contact Sam to ask for an update.
Tyler Karycki/Bill Yost – Property Issue -Marty Sowers is working on this for the township.
Paula wanted to know where the Septic issue stood with DEP. Julie said she would try to see if
she had a contact at DEP to ask for an update.

Stormwater Management Ordinance -Nothing new at this time.

Replace the Furnace – Austin was able to get the information the Board requested, however
Paula still felt that it was not complete. She said that the questions were still unanswered. Julie
said she would take it upon herself to contact each company the following day to try to get the
answers Paula requested.

Amusement Tax – Atty. Greco has prepared this ordinance. The Board will review it. Paula
stated that she is not in favor, as it if it will hurt small fairs and such. Julie stated that she isn’t
sure about it either. There is, however, damage being done to our roads because of all the excess
traffic from the concerts being held in the township. The subject was discussed. How can the
township recoup the cost of repairing these roads?

Hazen Road Turn around – Colin is going to reach out to Floyd Long, set up a time and go out
to visit with him. He will take Austin along with him.

Daniel Renn – Request for Conditional Use – Renn Road – The letter was signed by all the
Board members and a copy was sent to Daniel. This can be taken off the agenda.

Solar Farm – Julie stated that our engineer Mike Brinkash and ZEO, Ed Wenger wrote a letter to
the company that is working on this project. Julie sent the letters to each Planning Commission
member to read and review to prepare for the upcoming P.C. meeting in June.

Amish Cemeteries – Julie spoke with Leon Peachy and then advised him to call and speak to
our attorney, Ed Greco. Ed contacted Julie and said that Leon was going to consult with an
attorney in Lancaster that has dealt with this subject in the past.

Advertise 2012 F550 Truck- Bradco phoned Larry and stated that we will need to take the new
truck up to them for the issues to be corrected and they will give us a loaner vehicle to drive back
to our shed. We cannot sell the other truck until his matter is resolved.
